Welcome to Blessed Trinity Lay Carmelite Community!

Welcome to the Lay Carmelites!

We are ordinary men and women who have heard a quiet invitation from God to walk more closely with Jesus Christ in the spirit of Carmel. Our way of life is simple and beautiful: to pray deeply, to live in loving community, and to serve with generous hearts.

For centuries, the Carmelite family has helped countless people grow in holiness—doctors, saints, and blesseds such as St. Teresa of Avila, St. Thérèse of Lisieux, St. John of the Cross, and Blessed Titus Brandsma. Their example continues to inspire us today.

Our own community, the Blessed Trinity Lay Carmelite Community (#5815), began right here at St. Luke’s Catholic Church as a small spirituality group in 2009. With God’s grace, we became an officially founded community on November 30, 2010. We are part of a wider family of Lay Carmelites across the Canada East and New York Region, and belong to more than 250 communities in the Province of the Most Pure Heart of Mary.

Whether you are visiting, searching, or discerning a deeper way to live your faith, you are most welcome here.

We invite you to explore Carmel’s peaceful path and discover how God may be calling you.
